June/July 2012

JUNE 2012: Garden in almost full bloom. This garden does not get a lot of sun, so most part sun/part shade, or shade loving plants are doing quite well here.  Most of the plants you see here were transplants from other gardeners who I found on Craigslist who were sharing perennials that had taken over their gardens.

JULY 2010

I think I'll make a mosaic.  Murphy the cat is overseeing my work.

My house is a big rectangle and I cannot have a rectangular garden, too.  I need some more movement and shape. Here is the start of my curvy garden.

Good bye sod. Hello less lawn to mow.

JUNE 2010

I know.. let's build a rock wall and new walkway as a way to beautify those ugly stairs. Hire Rick Rice from Earthscapes in Shelburne, VT and he will take your drawing and make it come to life.

Now what to do with that ugly side wall?  I think I'll make a mosaic.
